  3. That moulding sure is fantastic. I wonder if anyone ever set out to make copies of it? I wouldn't mind decorating my house like this (once I get down to it and start building...)

  4. Respectfully, it is Mme. de Pompadour's Petit Trianon. She, with her brother the Marquis de Marigny, planned the Petit Trianon & the Place de la Concorde. Before her influence, Rococo was looked down upon & considered frivolous. Marie Antoinette clearly has fine taste, but she had an extraordinary legacy from which to draw.
