Hint Hint

My mom has made some beautiful blankets and stuffed animals for Kalia, so when I saw these dolls, I was wondering if she would be interested in another project! How's that for hinting?! (wink, wink)

Preschool Graduate

Today is Kalia's last day of Preschool, and then we're on summer break...so I'm doing a "kid post" in honor of my Preschool Graduate! Aren't these dolls adorable? I saw them on Bloesem Kids, and you can purchase them on ETSY, at the shop Sophie & Lili. So pickin' cute!

Chickabiddy Baby

Oh my goodness - are these cute or what? I really need a reason to buy one, so if you could just have a baby or something, and invite me to your shower, that would be perfect. I am just smitten with these little dolls! I know I'm not the only one, so be sure to check out the chickabiddy baby ETSY shop. The creator has a lovely blog as well, if you're interested. I think I found the epitome of pickin' cute!

Fulfilling Resolutions

I had three unofficial New Year's resolutions for 2009. One was to start a blog...Mission accomplished! The second was to exercise on a regular basis. We got a brand new Wii Fit the other night, so I'll keep you posted on the outcome of that one. Third, I want to learn how to knit. I'm guessing I'll need to start with a scarf...but maybe someday - if I get really good, I could make one of these pillows or dolls?! I'm getting ahead of myself here, but maybe I'll even make them as gifts. If you're anxious to own one - I can promise, you don't want to wait on me! You can find them at Land of Nod, or Bla Bla Kids. Aren't they cute?

Love Momiji

My first introduction to Momiji dolls was at a cute little shop in Lexington, KY, and it was love at first sight. I decided to start a new tradition, and will be giving my daughter a Momiji doll every year for her Birthday. I love that there is a tiny, fortune-cookie-sized note that is tucked inside each doll, so I can write a special Birthday message, along with her age. My little one turned four in October, and she absolutely loves The Sound of Music. I happened to find the "Cha Cha Cha" doll, and it says on the bottom of her bag that she too likes The Sound of Music! Aren't these just so pickin' cute?! Oh, and PS, you should really check out the website. Even the little cartoon dolls with zany music are a treat!
