I'm sure you have noticed that I love kid rooms - and frankly, I think they're inspiring. Generally, the colors are cheerful, and accessories are just plain fun! I think we're most creative with kid rooms because we want them to remember their personal space as a happy place, and one that inspired them to play for hours. This may sound a little absurd, but it may even be possible that we believe their space will somehow affect what they do, or become in the future - do you think?! Did you notice that these rooms all have the same rug? It's a great one for adding color to any space.

I love the bunting...is that what it's called? The triangle-shaped flags? When I have kids, there will be soooo much bunting.
ReplyDeleteI bet your readers would be surprised to see a picture of our amazingly decorated room at Kresge! HAHAHA! I was just looking at a pic of it the other day. We were SOO cool!
HaHa! I was just thinking about it the other day too - and was actually wondering if you had the photo handy...?? Mine is at my parents' house, but I thought it would be fun to show everyone just how cool we were when I introduce your house tour. ;) Would you mind? Oh, and YES - it's called bunting. I love it too! I have several more pix with bunting saved for another post. :)
